Various pictures from our 1999 trip, starting from Phoenix through Sonoma then looping through the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches & Canyonlands, Capitol Reef & Escalante Grand Staircase, Bryce & Zion, Lake Powell then back to Phoenix. 2600 miles on the rental car.
New Mexico
Albuquerque area & Santa Fe

These shots include sights around Albuquerque and Santa Fe, including the amazing Acoma Pueblo outside Albuquerque and the Chapel of San Miguel in Santa Fe, the oldest church structure in the United State in continual use.

Acadia National Park and the Maine Coast

Maine is a photographers delight, from it's lighthouses that dot the coastline, the land and seascapes of Mt. Desert Island / Acadia National Park, to the beauty of Baxter State Park.
Ricketts Glen Falls Trail
Ricketts Glen State Park, Pa.

The Falls Trail in Ricketts Glen State Park is a steep, 'More Difficult' trail (as rated by the Pa. State Park system). While the 'kids' romped, the old folks huffed and puffed our way around the 3 mile loop enjoying more gorgeous waterfalls in one place than it would seem possible.
